Passed away January 28, 2014. He was born in Coleridge, NE on November 1, 1928 to the late William and Hazel (Fairchild) Trotter. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Fannie Trotter; brothers, Roy, Eldon and Guy; sister, Caltha Richards. Marvin is survived by his daughters, Linda Raner (Edward) and Nancy Gilliland; son, Donald Trotter (Kathy); brother, Russell Trotter (Betty); sisters, Ellen Karlin and Alma Jensen (Robert); longtime companion, Evelyn Dimon; 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren.

MEMORIAL SERVICE is Friday 1pm at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. VISITATION will be during the hour prior to the service. Inurnment is in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family has suggested memorials to Hospice of Southwest Iowa.
