Herman Jacob, who lived at 1717 Grant Street, passed away at the Memorial Community Hospital on February 25th. He was born October 15th 1869 at Arlington and was 93 years of age.

He was married to Mary Margaret Uterman and they were the parents of two sons, Lloyd of Kennard and Clarence of Blair. His wife passed away on February 7 1962.

Survivors besides his sons are four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Emma Hartung of Fremont.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at the Kennard Lutheran Church with the Rev. Harold Laursen officiating. The Bendorf Funeral Home is in charge and burial will be in the Kennard Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be W.J. Echtenkamp, Ed Giesselman, Alvin Jacob, Obert Hartung Arthur Scheer and E.H. Hilgenkamp.
