Fontanelle friends were saddened by the death of Alvin Jacob, 59 at Methodist Hospital in Omaha Sunday. He is survived by his widow, Grace, daughter, Mrs. Joe (Lois) Green, grandson Michael, one brother and five sisters.

Services were held at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Omaha, Wednesday. Burial was in Fontanelle Cemetery and the family and friends gathered at Salem Lutheran church parlors following the graveside service.
