Wahoo, NE. Died October 7, 2017 at home. Survived by his son and daughters in law, Gerald "Jerry" and Mary Specht, Beverly Specht, all of Wahoo; grandchildren Scott (Lynne) Specht, Linda (Art) Hoven, Mark (Kari) Specht, Kirk (April) Specht, Jim (Candy) Specht, Jenna Specht and 12 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Wilma; son Gordon Lee Specht; daughter Linda Specht; one brother and two sisters.

Mass of Christian burial: 10 am Wednesday, Oct, 10, 2012, St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Wahoo. Interment: St. Francis Cemetery with military honors by VFW Post #4502 & American Legion Post #82. Visitation: Tuesday, 4 - 8 pm with rosary 7 pm at Svoboda Funeral Home, Wahoo. Memorials in care of the family for a future designation.
