Funeral services for Ira Edward Spink, who died Monday night at his home at 6 North Eighth street, were held Thursday morning at 1 o’clock at the Woodring chapel with Rev. H. J. Howard, pastor of the First Christian church, officiating. The body was taken to Kennard, Neb., by automobile for burial.

Ira Edward Spink

Ira Edward Spink, 78, died of appoploxy Monday at his home, 6 North Eighth street.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Nancy Spink; one daughter, Miss Edith Spink of Ethan, S. D.; two sons Clarence Spink of Miami, Fla., and Gale Spink of Ethan, S. D.; and three stepdaughters, Mrs. Dale McMullen and Mrs. Neil Payne of 2807 Ave D, and Mrs. Cody Davis, 1008 Ave. B.

Mr. Spink was an employee of the city. The body was removed to the Woodring Funeral Home pending funeral arrangements. No date has been set for the funeral as yet, but it is expected that interment will be at Blair, Neb.
