Myra Jensen was born on July 23, 1944 in Sioux City, Iowa, the daughter of Lyle “Tuffy” and Charlotte (Sharp) Ebel. She was raised and attended school in South Sioux City. In 1965 she moved to Blair and made the community her permanent home. On November 19, 1971 Myra was united in marriage to Robert “Red” Jensen in Blair. In 1974 she began working for the Blair Community Schools as a school bus driver. She was employed with the schools until her retirement, touching the lives of children for over 33 years. Myra was a friend to everyone in Blair and never met a stranger.

Myra is survived by her husband Robert L. Jensen, children: Jill (Matt) Graber of Omaha and Curt (Jerri) Pederson of Blair; grandchildren: Rachel (Keith) Spader, Brittany Clark, Ryan (Anne) Herman, Katelyn Pederson, Nick Graber; great grandchildren: Keller Herman, Harper Spader, Kinsly Herman, McKenzie Forrest; sister Cheri Wilde and sister in law Jane Jensen.

She was preceded in death by her parents, granddaughter Amy Herman, and brothers in law Gene Jensen and Dennis Wilde.
