Compton, Adean M., age 40

Herman, NE. Died on Monday March 12th, 2012 at home after a 2 year battle with metastatic breast cancer.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday the 17th at 10:30am at Country Bible Church in Blair.

Adean was born to Jerry and Dena Campbell, Aug. 31, 1971 in Omaha. Adean graduated from Millard North High School in 1992 and went on to attend cosmetology school in Omaha. In 1995, Adean moved to Florida and worked as a hair stylist. In 2000, while working by day she attended real estate classes at night. In 006, Adean moved back to Nebraska with her husband and daughter. Adean began working as a hair stylist in Blair at Textures Salon. Adean was an active member of the Herman Community Church, serving on the board as well as many other worthy activities. She was also active in cancer awareness programs throughout her battle. Adean was a very courageous woman who inspired many people with her contagious smile and upbeat attitude in the face of an insidious disease. Adean had an audacious interpretation of her role as a cancer patient: she fought it head on and NEVER gave up, ever. Adean is survived by her parents Jerry and Dena Campbell; her husband Blake and daughter Jasmine; as well as many members of her extended family. Memorials may be directed to the Herman Community Church and for Herman Church to further the ministry.
