Funeral services for Mrs. Christina Ambler were held Saturday at the Ft. Calhoun Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Ambler had died at the Blair Hospital on July 7th.

Christina Nichols Ambler was a life time resident of the Ft. Calhoun area, having been born there January 13th, 1886. She grew up at Ft. Calhoun and was a graduate of the Ft. Calhoun High School in 1902.

She was married to Irwin Ambler in 1909. Her husband preceded her in death a number of years ago. A daughter, Mildred, also preceded her in death. Another daughter, Helen, who is Mrs. Lester Wilt, of Calhoun, is living. Mrs. Ambler has made her home with her daughter for a number of years. A brother, William Nichols, lives in Omaha.

She was a member of the Ft. Calhoun Presbyterian Church and as a younger woman was quite active in its affairs.

Funeral services were held at the Presbyterian Church last Saturday afternoon, July 10th with the Rev. Keith Sackett in charge. Burial, under the direction of the Sievers Mortuary was made in the Ft. Calhoun Cemetery.

Pall bearers were Milton, Martin, Joe and Ernest Swift, Ed Kush and Ed Schooler.
