Blair Woman Died Suddenly of Heart Attack-Mrs. Rose Wolff Metzinger Passes Tuesday-Sudden Death

The community was shocked Tuesday, when the sudden death of Mrs. Rose Wolff Metzinger was learned. She had been apparently in good health, but a sudden heart attack brought the end quickly at 11:15 a.m.

Deceased was born in Omaha, October 14, 1879, and was thus past sixty-one years of age. She was the daughter of the late Victor Wolff Sr., and was well known and highly respected in Blair.

Her husband, George Metzinger, died several years ago and for a number of years she made her home with her father and in his failing years she was all that a daughter could be in her care of him.

She leaves one daughter, Mrs. Kirby Cook of Omaha and one sister, Mrs. C. J. Beekmann of Blair and six brothers, Victor, Jr., Ed, Carl, and Frank of Blair and Arthur and Louie of Omaha. These all grieve deeply the death of one so dear.

Funeral services were held this (Thursday) morning at the Catholic Church in Blair with Father Thos. Carmody officiating and interment in charge of Chris K. Bendorf, mortician, was made in the Blair Cemetery.
