Ida Andersen Passes Away

Miss Ida Andersen, 49, passes away at the Blair Hospital Sunday, January 9, following a severe case of pneumonia.

Miss Andersen was born southwest of Herman, December 4, 1888, the daughter of the late J. J. Andersen. After her parent’s death she was employed near Blair for many years. She was never married.

She leaves to mourn her death two sisters, Mrs. Anna Broderson and Mrs. Art Magill, both of Herman, three brothers, Pete of Herman, Charles and Chris of Omaha, nine nieces and seven nephews, besides many more distant relatives and a host of friends.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m., at the Bendorf Funeral Home. Rev. Lund of the Blair Danish Lutheran Church officiating. Pallbearers were Floyd, Raymond, Melvin and Harold Magill, Alvin Andersen and Vernon Mathiesen, nephews of Miss Andersen.

Interment was in the Orum Cemetery.
