Services For Walter Rosenbaum To Be Tuesday

Funeral services for 69-year-old Walter Bernhardt Rosenbaum will be on Tuesday, March 11, at 2 p.m. in the Emmaus Lutheran Church at Kennard. Mr. Rosenbaum, died on Saturday, March 8 at the Blair Memorial Hospital. Mr. Rosenbaum was born at Kennard, Nebraska on April 30, 1910 to William and Annie Rosenbaum. He was married to Carrie Uterman May 15, 1935 and the couple was engaged in farming in the Kennard area for 12 years. They also lived in Longmont, Colorado for 11 years. The Tuesday services will be conducted by Rev. John Petersen with burial in the Kennard Cemetery under the direction of the Campbell Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife, Carrie, of Kennard; six children, 22 grandchildren and one great-grandchild plus numerous nephews and nieces. The children are: Ronald Rosenbaum, of Omaha; Sharon Pedersen of Longmont, Colorado; Connie Pedersen of Longmont, Colorado; Marsha Vogt of Blair; Donald Rosenbaum of Fremont; and Rodney Rosenbaum of Kennard.

Brothers and sisters are Leslie Rosenbaum of Blair; Clyde Rosenbaum of Omaha; Merritt Rosenbaum of Omaha; Helena Andreasen of Fremont; Marie Pettit, Blair; Freida Kruse of Bennington; Gladys Dickmeyer of Arlington; Selma Allison, Decatur; Lola Gottsch of Arlington.

Active pallbearers will be Neil Rosenbaum, Wally Plugge, Bruce Rosenbaum, Duane Gottsch, Mervyn Gottsch, and Gordon McDonald.

Honorary pallbearers: Bob Plugge, Don Rosenbaum, Bill McDonald, Gary Rosenbaum and Norman Jensen.
