Allen L. Fox, 59

Allen L. Fox, 59, of Blair, died Thursday, Dec. 28, 2006, at the Hospice House in Omaha.

Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 30, at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home in Blair. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services.

Allen L. Fox was born Nov. 26, 1947, in San Antonio, Texas, to Leonard and Marjorie Fox. He was a 1967 graduate of Abraham Lincoln High School in Council Bluffs, Iowa. From 1967 to 1971, he served in the United States Navy.

On April 18, 1997, he married Susan Placzek in Omaha, and the couple made their home in Blair.

For the last 19 years, Mr. Fox was employed at L & M Construction Chemicals.

He is survived by his wife, Susan, of Blair; daughter, Jeanne of Council Bluffs, Iowa; step-children, Brandon Thomas of Blair; and Allison Eickhoff and her husband, Joe, of Omaha; son-in-law, Joel Pick; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant daughter, Kristie, daughter, Jennifer Pick, and infant grandson, Sean.

Memorials are suggested to the Blair Rescue Squad, the Hospice House, or the American Heart Association.
