Mrs. Fowler Dead, Age 59

Services At Kennard Church For Victim Of Long Illness

A long illness proved fatal early Friday to Mrs. Olga Fowler, 59, of Kennard. Mrs. Fowler, widow of Andrew J. Fowler, died at St. Catherine’s Hospital in Omaha, where she had been a patient since last May.

The funeral, with arrangements in charge of the Bendorf Funeral Home of Blair, was held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Kennard Lutheran Church. The Rev. Ried Neve officiated. Interment, with nephews as pallbearers, was in Kennard Cemetery.

Olga Larsen was born at Kennard Sept. 12, 1892. She and Andrew J. Fowler following their marriage, farmed a number of years. Mr. Larsen died in 1949.

Surviving Mrs. Larsen are a son, Dr. Kenneth Fowler of Linden, Mich.; a daughter, Mrs. William Hildenbrand (Lois) of Lodi, Calif.; four grandchildren; two brothers, Edgar Larsen of Blair and Harry Larsen of Kennard; and two sisters, Mrs. Allison French of Kennard and Mrs. Ray Dixon of Omaha.
