Clarence Gill, 30, Is Death Victim Monday-Business Man Is Victim of Pneumonia-Native of Tekamah

Clarence Gill, proprietor of an oil station here in Blair, passed away last Monday evening in the Clarkson Hospital in Omaha.

He had been ill for about six weeks suffering from a heart ailment and late pneumonia.

Deceased was born in Tekamah where his parents, Mr. and Mrs. James S. Gill, still reside. He came to Blair several years ago and entered the oil business.

His wife and two daughters, one and two years of age, besides his parents and two brothers, and two sisters survive.

Funeral services will be held this (Thursday) afternoon from the home at one o’clock and at 2:00 from the Methodist Church in Tekamah where interment will be made.

Clarence Gill, son of Burt County Supervisor J. S. Gill of Tekamah, succumbed Monday at Blair, where he operated a service station. He was a married man and leaves a family. The funeral services will be held Friday.

Note: Census and marriage records have his wife, Edna Plummer, married February 27, 1934. Clarence is the son of James S. and Dora Gill. His siblings are Glenn T, James G. Virginia B. and Anna B.
