Annie Louise Linden

Miss Annie Louise Linden, a patient sufferer for the past several months, passed away at her home on Davis Avenue last Monday morning, April 11.

Deceased was born in St. Louis Mo., and when but a small child moved to this county where they resided on a farm west of Blair in the Sutherland district and where a brother, Frank Linden still resides.

The father passed away about forty years ago and one brother, John and the mother and sister lived for a number of years of the farm.

They moved to Blair about seven years ago and soon after the brother passed away and in a short time, the mother, leaving Miss Linden to live alone for a time.

Of the family only two brothers, Frank, now residing on the home place and Will, living just east of town, survive.

Miss Annie was an exceptional woman and in her love and devotion to her family she was all that a self sacrificing saint could be and her friends will always bear a kindly feeling for her memory.

The funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the Trinity Lutheran Church with Rev. Werning officiating and interment was made in the Blair Cemetery.

Miss Anna Linden passed away at her home on Davis Avenue at about 10 o'clock Monday morning, following an illness of several months duration. The funeral service was held at 2 o'clock this afternoon at Trinity Lutheran church, Rev. H. Werning officiating. Anna Louise Linden was born in St. Louis, Mo, April 22, 1870, so was almost 57 years of age. She came to this county with her parents, Henry B. and Henrietta Linden, when but a small girl and settled on the farm where Frank Linden is now living. Her father died in 1887 and the mother and children stayed on the farm until November 1920. The following month her brother, John, died, her mother passed away in March, 1922.She is survived by two brothers, Frank and Will, also two nephews and three nieces, and aunt, Mrs. Rachael Meyer, of St. Louis, and an uncle, John Hovendick, of Omaha. Miss Anna was a quiet, sincere girl who was much loved by all who knew her. The bereaved relatives have the sincere sympathy of many friends.
