HARVEY SYDOW DIES AT OAKLAND

Harvey Sydow of Lyons, the son of Mrs. August Sydow of Blair, died Wednesday, August 3, in the Oakland Hospital following a brief illness.

He was born June 13, 1894 at Pender, and came to Blair with his family in 1913. For the past nineteen years he has lived on a farm near Lyons.

He was married to Christina Miller Luce of Blair, who survives him along with two sons, Grant of St. Louis and Stanley of Lyons, and two daughters, Mrs. Donna Kirk, of Grand Island, and Val, at home.

His aged mother also survives as well as four brothers, Harry of Fairbury, Warner of Cambria, Minnesota, Walter of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and Steven of Alexandria, and two sisters, Mrs. Hedwig Hyles of San Diego, California and Mrs. Augusta Alfson of Boise, Idaho.

Burial was made in the Blair Cemetery Saturday.
