Mrs. Catherine Lewis died at Middleton, Ia., July 5th, at the age of 101 years, 11 months. She is survived by six children, the oldest 81 and the youngest 57. She was formerly a resident of this county, and O. K. Lewis, of Arlington, is a son.

Death of Grandma Lewis

Word was received in Arlington last Thursday that Mrs. Catherine Lewis had died in Middletown, Iowa, the night before, and her son O. K. Lewis of this place started at once for that place to attend the funeral, which occurred on Friday last. Mrs. Lewis would have been 102 years old had she lived until the middle of next month. She is survived by six children, the oldest, Miss Lois, being 81, while the youngest is 57. She resided in Arlington for a number of years, but two years ago left here for Middletown, where she has since resided with a daughter.
