CHARLES PETERSON RITES HELD FRIDAY

Having been ill nearly a month, Charles Peterson 66, died Tuesday afternoon at the Blair hospital where he had been confined for several weeks.

Mr. Peterson, the son of the late Swan and Elizabeth Peterson, was born August 15, 1873 in Sweden. He was baptized there and came to this country when he was one year old. The family settled in the Goll school district from which they later moved to north of Kennard where they lived until 1906 and then moved to Blair. Mr. Peterson, having never married, stayed with his parents, caring for them in the later days of their aged lives.

Surviving Mr. Peterson are two brothers, Peter L. Peterson of Blair and Nels Peterson of Kennard; one sister, Mrs. A. N. Anderson, also of Kennard; five nieces; and three nephews.

Services were held at the Campbell Mortuary in Blair Friday, at 2 p.m., Rev. Ralph P. Rasmussen pastor of the First Methodist Church officiating. Interment followed in the Blair Cemetery.

Deceased was known for his upright life and his sterling honesty and he leaves a host of friends who honor him for his virtues.
