MRS. LANGSTAFF DIED MARCH 17

Mrs. Priscilla Langstaff, for years a resident of Blair, died at her home in Winnipeg, Canada, on March 17th. Mrs. Langstaff, while residing in Blair, made a host of friends who will be sorry to learn of her death. Her husband, one of Blair’s outstanding physicians, passed on a a number of years ago and since that time Mrs. Langstaff has made her home with her daughter, Mrs. W. J. Long of Winnipeg. The following letter from her son may be of interest to her many warm friends:

Mr. John Rhoades
Blair Enterprise
Blair, Nebraska
Dear Mr. Rhoades:

Mother passed away at 1:10 a.m. Friday morning, March 17 and the funeral was held at 2:00 o’clock on Monday, March 20. She was laid to rest adjacent to father in the Elmwood Cemetery Winnipeg, Manitoba. Her death resulted from her accident on December 12. While she seemed to improve through the months of December and January and was up in a chair for a short time each day, yet her appetite was not entirely normal and seemed as though she had given up during the last few weeks.

She was very anxious to continue her interest in all her old friends at Blair and to retain her Eastern Star membership until the very last. I know, my sister, Mrs. W. J. Long, would appreciate hearing from any of mother’s old and highly esteemed friends back home.

Will you kindly arrange to change the address of our recent subscription in mother’s name to Mr. H. A. P. Langstaff, 624 Ridgefield Avenue, S. H. P. O., Pittsburg, Penn.

Very truly yours,
H. A. P. Langstaff
