Keith L. Fink, age 89 of Blair, passed away March 22, 2019, at his home in Blair. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, March 27, 2019, at 2 p.m., at St. Andrews Methodist Church in Omaha. Military graveside services will be held Thursday, March 28, 2019, at 11 a.m. at Park Cemetery in Elgin.

Keith was born on June 15, 1929, in Elgin, the son of Loton and Ruth Fink. He was raised in Elgin and graduated from Elgin High School. After high school, Keith farmed and then later joined the United States Army in 1951 and served in Korea as a decoder for encrypted messages. After his time in the Army, he married Kathryn Asch. For several years, Keith owned and operated a dairy farm in Wisconsin. Keith later moved back to Gretna, where he began working for Western Electric and eventually retired from the company. He later moved to Kennard. On June 15, 2003, he was united in marriage to Mardell Matzen at St. Andrews United Methodist Church. Keith was a member of the American Legion Jackson Peck Post in Herman and St. Andrews United Methodist Church in Omaha. Keith will always be remembered for being a cowboy at heart.

Keith is survived by his wife, Mardell; daughters, Ramona Fink and Audrey Lynette (Gary) Schleicher; step-daughter, Karen Felderman; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Cathy; sons, Steven, Bill, Bruce and Brian; sisters, Audrey Jeck, Betty Jane Von Bonn and Allie Mae Carpenter; and brother, Richard Fink.

Memorials may be directed to the family for later designation.
