MRS. GEORGE SIERT OF OMAHA IS DEAD

Mrs. George Siert, 54, native of Blair, died Friday in an Omaha hospital. Funeral services were held in Omaha Monday morning, with interment there.

Daughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. B. F. Monroe, early-day Blair residents, she was born as Irene Monroe in 1881, and attended the local schools. She was married to George Siert, brother of Paul and Fred Siert of Blair.

Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Kenneth Delong of Council Bluffs; a granddaughter, Lois May Delong; two sisters , Mrs. John Persons of San Francisco and Miss Agnes Monroe of Pasadena, California.

RITES HELD FOR MRS. GEORGE SIERT

Funeral rites were held in Omaha Monday morning at 10 o’clock from the Forest Lawn cemetery chapel for Mrs. Irene Monroe Siert who died the preceding Friday, April 17 in an Omaha hospital. She was 54 years old.

Mrs. Siert, before her marriage, Miss Irene Monroe, was the daughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. B. F. Monroe, at one time a Blair physician, and his wife, both of whom were prominent here socially. Her husband, George Siert, is a brother of Fred Siert of Blair.

Surviving are her husband, a daughter, Mrs. Kenneth DeLong of Council Bluffs, a granddaughter, Lois May and two sisters, Mrs. John Persons of San Francisco and Miss Agnes Monroe of Pasadena, California.
