MARGARET CRUICKSHANK HALL

Mr. Hall, whose death was lately announced in the Blair papers, was the daughter of our friend, James Cruickshank of DeSoto, and came to Washington county with her parents from Scotland in 1872 when only four years old and about fourteen years later began her career as a graduate trained nurse. Two years ago she became the wife of the building superintendent of the South Omaha Stock Yards company and felt that life was getting more of sunshine after her years of toil in her chosen field and in the beautiful home her husband had provided for her. Her serious illness was brief and she was able to greet her many former patients and friends to the last. She was buried from the South Omaha Episcopal church followed by remarks at the grave by Mr. S. Anderson. Three of her brothers and three nephews acted as pallbearers, and in the presence of many friends from Washington and Douglas counties, she was interred at Forest Lawn, resting under a wealth of flowers. She leaves her parents, the venerable James Cruickshank and wife of DeSoto, four brothers and six sisters, besides other relatives.
