Services for Lloyd Jacob, 91 who died January 31, 1994 at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair will be 2 p.m. Thursday, February 3 at Emmaus Lutheran Church in Kennard. Rev. Chris Beyer will officiate. Burial will be at the Kennard Cemetery.

Masonic services will be Wednesday, February 2 at 7:30 p.m. at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home.

Lloyd Jacob was born June 8, 1902 at Kennard to Herman and Mary Uterman Jacob. He was baptized at St. Paul Lutheran Church near Arlington and was confirmed at Emmaus Lutheran Church. He was a life-time member there.

He graduated from Kennard High School in 1922. He was accepted into the John S. Bowen Masonic Lodge in 1927.

On March 12, 1930 he married Bertha Jensen at Emmaus Lutheran Church.

He lived and farmed northwest of Kennard in the March School District until 1988 when he moved to Good Shepherd Lutheran Home in Blair.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Bertha in 1988; one great-grandchild and his brother, Clarence.

He is survived by his three daughters, JoAnn (Mrs. Walter) Japp and Doris (Mrs. Don) Sorensen, both of Kennard and Ruthie (Mrs. Gorlyn) Hagerbaumer of Hooper; his son and his wife, Herman and Jeanette Jacob of Arlington; 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
