M. W. Derry, 89, Is Dead At Norfolk

M. W. Derry, 89, who came to Fontanelle, Nebraska, from London in 1856 with his parents, died Monday night at his home in Norfolk after an extended illness. He had been a resident of Nebraska 85 years.

Born in Lindon* in 1852, and a lad at Fontanelle when four years old, Mr. Derrry in later years owned and operated farms in a number of Nebraska counties for 63 years before retiring.

Surviving are his wife, one daughter and two sons.
