Arlington Woman Dies In Fremont; Methodist Funeral Tuesday

Mrs. Margaret Jane Hanslip, 83, of Arlington died Saturday at a nursing home in Fremont. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Methodist Church in Arlington with the Rev. Carl B. Harris officiating.

Burial was in the Arlington Cemetery. William Reckmeyer and Sons Mortuary had charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Floyd, Kenneth, Lloyd and Carlin Utterback, Gary Hanslip and Everett Bogenreif.

Mrs. Hanslip was the daughter of the late Isaac and Lucinda Dillinger Gibson. She was born Febr. 11, 1870 at Huron, Ind. She was married to William Woodrow Hanslip at Tekamah September, 1887.

Surviving are five sons, Harry of Gillette, Wyo., Walter of Fremont, Fred of Sioux City, Ia., Robert of san Diego and Jim of San Bernadino, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. Jess Wallingford of Fremont, Mrs. Guy Bogenreif of Lincoln and Mrs. Eva Straw of Red Oak, Ia.; one sister, Mrs. Carrie Davis of Tacoma, Wash., and 42 grandchildren.
