FUNERAL SERVICES FOR HENRY UTERMAN ON FRIDAY

Henry Uterman of Arlington passed away July 9, 1974 at the Fremont Care Center in Fremont at the age of 91 years.

Henry was born October 21, 1882 in Kennard to John and Linda Uterman. He was a farmer in Washington County most of his life. He also farmed in Pierce county for 13 years then moved to Fremont for four years. When he retired as a farmer, he became a janitor at the Kennard school for 13 years. At the age of 81 he retired and moved to Arlington in 1967 from Kennard. Henry was married to Carrie Schultz on March 30, 1904 in Blair. They just celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary.

Henry is survived by his wife and six daughters, Mrs. Howard (Helena) Jensen, Mrs. Albert (Wilma) Plugge, both of Arlington, Mrs. Roy (Mildred) Butterfield of Petaluma, California, Mrs. Walter (Dorothy) Plugge of Blair, Mrs. Walter (Carrie) Rosenbaum of Kennard and Mrs. Leo (Verna) Helmsing of O'Fallon, Missouri. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be arranged by the Reckmeyer Funeral Homw in Arlington on Friday, July 12, 1974 at 11 a.m. at the Arlington Community Church with Rev. Bryce Hecht and Rev. Warren Jensen officiating. Organist will be Melvyn Misfeldt and Rev. Warren Jensen. Pallbearers are Walter Plugge, Ronald Rosenbaum, Rodney Rosenbaum, Donald Rosenbaum, Robert Plugge and Norman Jensen. Burial will be at the Kennard Cemetery.

All memorials are to be sent to gthe Arlington Community Church and the Arlington Rescue Squad.
