Vivian M. Blum age 83, passed away April 22, 2019 at Tekamah Care and Rehabilitation Center. Services will be held Thursday, April 25, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the Tekamah Methodist Church. Visitation will be held prior to the service, beginning at 12:00 PM.

Vivian was born on July 31, 1935 in Fremont, Nebraska the daughter of Edward and Edith Blum. She attended New England School District #23 and then attended and graduated from Herman High School. She was confirmed at the E. U. B. Church in Telbasta. She joined the Tekamah Methodist Church after the Telbasta church closed. Over the years she was a member of the 4-H club, the New England Women’s Club, the Herman American Legion Auxiliary and the Tekamah Garden Club. Vivian loved gardening and in her time at Tekamah Care and Rehab tended the facilities flower beds. Vivian was a winner of multiple county and state fair flower and vegetable trophies and ribbons. She loved animals especially raising cattle and caring for her cats.

Vivian is survived by numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Walter.
