MRS. N.E. NOYES BURIED IN OREGON

Grace May Jones was born in Maquon, Illinois, in 1872. She moved to Nebraska with her parents in 1887 and was married to N.E. Noyes on January 21, 1891. They resided in Blair until last year when they moved to Portland, Oregon, where she passed away on April 27, 1944.

Surviving Mrs. Noyes are her husband; four daughters, Mrs. J.E. Barry of Omaha, Mrs. J.P. Edwards, Mrs. Carl Winthers, and Mrs. Charles Ruetschi, all of Portland, Oregon; one son, Joe Noyes, of Portland; one sister, Mrs. Charles Pace, Blair; three brothers, Horace Jones, Blair, Edgar of Chicago, Illinois, and Don of Portland; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted on Monday, May 1st, at 11 A.M. from the Pearson Funeral Chapel with vault entombment at Riverview Abbey. Pallbearers were all former Blair residents but one—Ed Averill, Kenneth Mullen, Walter Stricklett, Roule Warrick, “Buzz” Warrick, and T.E. Van DeVenter.
