The body of George Burger, Mrs. M.K. Davies' father, was brought over from Blencoe, Ia., last Thursday and the funeral was held at the Davies home Friday morning, Rev. J. Wallace Larkin officiating. Interment was made in the Blair Cemetery by the side of his wife whose death occurred several years ago. Mr. Burger was born in Stuben county, N.Y., about eighty-four years ago, came to this state in 1851 and served during the Civil War in the 1st Nebraska cavalry. He leaves two sons, Jno. who lives at Blencoe, Ia., and Bert at Onawa, Ia. Also two daughters, Mrs. Berry and Mrs. Davies, both of this city.
