Services were Friday, February 8, at St. Donatus Catholic Church at Brooten, Minnesota for Darlene JoAnn Hunt Burgess who died at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis February 5, 1991 at the age of 60. Burial was in the St. Donatus Catholic Cemetery at Brooten.

She graduated from Blair High School.

She married Hugh Burgess in December, 1949. They lived at Julian, Nebraska on a farm and several years later moved to Minnesota where they were now living.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.

She is survived by her husband, Hugh Burgess of Morris, Minnesota; one daughter and son-in-law, Marjorie and Mike Niznik of Minneapolis; one son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Chris Burgess; two grandchildren, Toni Burgess and Mitchell Burgess of Cyrus, Minnesota; one sister, Colleeta Petersen of Herman; and two brothers, Bill Hunt of Blair and Claude Hunt of Emporia, Kansas.
