FORMER COUNTIAN DIED IN COLORADO

Older residents of the Kennard area will recall Jack A. Burgess who was born and raised in that community. Burgess, now 73, died at Ft. Collins, Colorado last week.

He left Kennard about forty years ago, moving to Omaha where he entered the livestock commission business. Ten years ago he moved to Ft. Collins where he continued in a similar business.

Survivors are his wife, Edna, and a daughter, Mrs. Phyllis Legino of Ft. Collins, and by a son, James, who resides in California. A sister, Mrs. Myrtle Horn, lives at Pueblo, Colorado.
