Cody James Olsen was born to Ed and Judi (Hall) Olsen July 13, 1979 in Omaha, Nebraska. He passed away April 30, 2019 in Tekamah, Nebraska.

Cody received his associate's degree from Southeast Community College in Milford, Nebraska. As a co-owner, in September of 2012, Cody started Patriot Crane and Rigging and companies in Omaha. He is survived and supported by his Patriot family. His passion and joy in life stemmed from his love for his business, work family and customers.

On May 29, 2013 he married Carrie; together they lived with their blended family in Blair, Nebraska.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dallas and Hilma Hall, Etlar and Helen Olsen; aunt, Victoria (Hall) Eads.

Survivors include his parents, Ed and Judi Olsen of Tekamah; Carrie Olsen of Blair; daughter, Halle Olsen (16) of Tekamah; son, Rylan Olsen (10) of Blair; step children, Taylor Stewart (22) of Kearney and Jason Stewart (17) of Blair. Cody is also survived by many beloved aunts, uncles and cousins.

Cody was a registered organ donor and was able to donate through Live On Nebraska.

A celebration of life will be held at South Creek in Blair at a later date.

MEMORIALS: Cody James Olsen Trade School Scholarship; all memorials will be used for a scholarship, in Cody's name, to attend a trade school.
