EDWIN LAKE DIED AT THE AGE OF 80

Edwin G. Lake, of Blair, Nebraska, passed away at the Blair Hospital on Sunday, November 7th. The funeral will be November 9th at 2 p.m. in the Campbell Mortuary in Blair. Reverend Wayne Clark will officiate with burial in the Blair Cemetery. Mr. Lake was an iron worker for most of his working years and lived at 1325 Nebraska Street in Blair. He was married to Bertha Harding who preceded him in death. Mr. Lake was a World War I Veteran. Mr. Lake has two surviving sisters and one brother. They are Martha Walther, Oakland, California; Katie Akin, Thief River Falls, Minnesota and Albert Lake of Lyons, Nebraska. Step-children are Mrs. Susan Simonsen of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; Ann Allmon of Council Bluffs, and Thomas Flynn of Grand Island. Pallbearers are: Neal Wehmeyer, Edward Williamson, Jerry Flynn, Carroll Allmon, Allen Allmon and Marvin Allmon.
