SERVICES WEDNESDAY FOR MRS. HUNT

WIFE OF BLAIR TELEPHONE OWNER DIED EARLY SUNDAY

Mrs. E.C. Hunt, 70 years of age, died Sunday at Memorial Community Hospital, following an illness of several months.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon, Feb. 7, 1962, at 2 o’clock at the Blair Methodist Church. The Rev. Dale Westadt will officiate. Interment will be in Blair Cemetery.

Mrs. Hunt, the former Vera K. Burke, was born Feb. 13, 1891 at Barry, Ill., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alexander Burke. She was married to Mr. E.C. Hunt Jully 16, 1909 at Aledo, Ill.

Mrs. Hunt is survived by her husband, E.C. Hunt; two sons, Emory and Robert Hunt, both of Blair; two granddaughters, Gail and Robley Hunt; two great-grandchildren; her mother, Mrs. Kathryn Burke, of Quincy, Ill.; and a brother, Edmund Burke, of Quincy, Ill.

She was a member of the Eastern Star and Past Worthy Matron of the Walthill, Nebr. Chapter.

A member and past president of the Monday Afternoon Club, and a member and past president of the P.E.O.

Mrs. Hunt’s body will lie in state at the Bendorf Funeral Home. Campbell Mortuary will be in charge of the service.

SERVICES FOR MRS. E.C. HUNT WEDNES

. Funeral services were held for Mrs. E.C. Hunt Wednesday afternoon at the First Methodist church in Blair. Mrs. Hunt, age 70, died at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair last Sunday after an illness of several months.

At the services, conducted by the Rev. Dale Westadt of the Methodist church, Mrs. Harold Wright, accompanied by Mrs. H. Lyle Guyer provided the music. Pallbearers were Walter Gutschow, Ernest Tornblad, Walter Petersen, Philip O’Hanlon, Ernest Schmidt and Fred Brunk.
