After an illness of about three weeks, Edith, the thirteen year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marcus Bilyue, died at 6 o'clock last Thursday evening of peritonitis following appendicitis. The funeral was held a the L.D.S. church, of which she was a member, at 2:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon, Elder Paul Craig, of Omaha officiating. She was a bright, sweet spirited girl and her death is a severe blow to her parents and many friends. She wa a member of the Freshman class in the high school and her classmates sent a beautiful floral wreath in loving memory.

Notes: The Vig Files at the Danish American Archives has her recorded as being buried in the Blair Cemetery(40-2-9). The Blair Cemetery records do not have a recording of this burial. The following is regarding and infant sibling.

Infant Bilyue

A year and a half old child of Marcus Bilyue, was buried from the family residence near the canning factory. It died from the effects of eh prevailing throat disease.
