CORA HURD TO BE BURIED

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 12, at Campbell Funeral Home for Cora Hurd, 90, who died March 9, 1983 in Belgrade, Nebraska. Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery.

Cora Hurd was born March 15, 1892 in Blair to Ola and Mary Jacobson. She married Herbert Hurd in Blair on May 21, 1913.

They moved to Belgrade in 1941 from Omaha.

She is survived by two sons, Harold of Peoria, Arizona, and Earl of Fort Collins, Colorado; and one daughter, Mrs. Onno (Dorothy) Ahlers of Belgrade.

Campbell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for the services.

Note: the original news article spelled her father’s name as Ole Jacobsen, but Ola and Mary Jacobson are buried in the Blair cemetery.
