Burr Husk, a former Blair man and member of a well-known Washington county family, died last Sunday, June 23rd, at Phoenix, Arizona, where he had been making his home.

The deceased was born at Blair March 27, 1905 and was 69 years of age.

He attended school at rural Pleasant View School and graduated from Blair High School.

He is survived by his wife, Wilma, 3 sons, Donald of Denver, Colo.; Roland of Fort Calhoun, Nebraska, and Wayne of Florida; three daughters are: Mrs. Vincent (Jenene) Grothouse, Mrs. LeRoy (Addie) Lomax of Lakewood, Colo., and Mrs. Richard (Shirley) Libby of Phoenix, Ariz.

There are 18 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Four brothers survive: Clarkson of Blair, Harry of Kennard, Donald of Hooper, and Eugene of Herman.

He also leaves many friends and relatives in and around Blair.

Funeral services were held at Phoenix, Wednesday, June 26th. Mr. and Mrs. Husk had been living at 4040 West Van Buren, Space 1-A, Phoenix, 85009
