Mrs. Theodore (T. T.) Moorehead died last Saturday morning of gastroenteritis, following an illness of about two weeks. Rev. G. W. Stansbury conducted the funeral from the residence at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon, which was largely attended. Permelia Melvina Butt was born in Harrison County, Ia., Sept. 9th, 1858, and was therefore almost 55 years of age. She was married to T. T. Moorehead March 17th, 1881, and to this union fourteen children were born, nine of whom are now living. She had been a member of the Christian Church for many years, and lived a faithful and conscientious Christian life under very hard conditions. The large attendance at the funeral shows something of the esteem in which she was held.
