Mrs. Herman Klahn died at her home near Walhill last Saturday morning of blood poisoning following the birth of a 10 1/2 pound boy about a week before her death. They body was brought down here Sunday and taken to the home of her aunt, Mrs. Ben Peck, where the funeral was held at 10 o'clock Monday morning, Rev. F. M. Sturdevant officiating. Deceased was formerly Miss Gladys McManigal, the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse McManigal. She was born in this city April 7th, 1895, moving to Walthill. Besides the grief stricken young husband an infant son, her parents, two brothers and two sisters and a host of friends and relatives to mourn her death. Her mother is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Compton, Sr., of this city.
