Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Coutts lost their only child, little Norma Jean, aged 2 years 8 months and 29 days, at their home in Omaha last Sunday and the body was brought here yesterday afternoon, following a brief service at the house, for a funeral service at the Methodist church, which was conducted by Rev. O. U. McProud and Rev. W. H. Underwood. Burial was in the Blair cemetery. Mrs. Coutts was formerly Miss Marie Miller, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hans Miller of this city. Norma Jean was taken ill Wednesday night with bowel trouble and was so badly poisoned that nothing could be done to save her life. Mr. Coutts is an employee of the post office in Omaha.
