Mrs. Victor Wolff passed peacefully away at about 7 o’clock last Thursday evening. She had been failing from anemia for the past year, but her condition became critical about two weeks ago. The funeral service was held at the Catholic church at 10 o’clock Monday morning, Father Byersdorfer officiating. Emma Kleffener was born in Omaha January 31st, 1860, her parents being pioneers of that place. She grew to womanhood there and was united in marriage to Victor Wolff June 29th, 1878. They made their home in Omaha for some seven years before moving to this city, which has been their home ever since. She is survived by her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Rose Metzinger and Mrs. C. J. Beekmann, both of this city and six sons, Victor, Jr., Ed, Carl, and Louis of this city, Frank of Ft. Calhoun and Arthur of Omaha. Also a sister, Mrs. O. T. Rhodes and a brother, Wm. Kleffener of Denver and two brothers, George and Fred of Omaha. There are thirteen grandchildren. She was a charter member of the Royal Neighbor lodge, but two of whom are now living. Mrs. Wolff loved her home and family duties and was seldom away from them, but was greatly beloved by those who knew her intimately and will be very much missed by them.

Mrs. Emma Wolff, of this city, passed away at her home on Colfax street last Thursday, August 13. Miss Emma Kleffner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Kleffner, was born in Omaha January 31, 1860 and grew to womanhood in that city.

She was united in marriage to Victor Wolff in Omaha June 29, 1878 and to them eight children were born, two girls and six boys, who with the husband and father survive: Rose Metzinger, Mrs. C.J. Beekman, Victor Jr., Edward, Carl and Louie all of Blair, Frank of Calhoun and Arthur of Omaha. Besides these children the deceased leaves one sister, three brothers and thirteen grandchildren to mourn her death.

Mrs. Wolff was a woman who was held in high esteem in the community, loved by those who knew her and idolized by her children who mourn deeply her loss.

The funeral was held Monday from the Catholic church and interment was made in the Blair cemetery.
