Mrs. Mike Ingerslev received word last week that her only brother, M. P. Madsen of Seattle, Washington had died at the Columbus Sanitarium from pneumonia. He came to Blair with his parents and grew to manhood in and around Blair, and when the war with Spain broke out, he enlisted in Company G, 3rd Nebraska volunteer infantry and served with that organization until mustered out in April, 1899. After the war he went west and located at Seattle. He was buried with full honors by the Spanish War Veterans. He leaves a wife, an aged father and an only sister, Mrs. Ingerslev of this city.
