The deceased was born November 11, 1849 in Schleswig Holstein, Germany, and was united in marriage with Carl Bohs in 1868. The husband died in 1880, and shortly thereafter she came to the United States and several years later she was married to Hans Beekman. The deceased was a pioneer of Washington county having resided on a farm west of Blair for nearly forty years. She is survived by three children, five grandchildren, three brothers and one sister, besides a large number of other relatives.
