THEO WARRICK

One of the most largely attended funerals held in Lincoln during recent years was that of Theo Warrick, the Burlington engineer, yesterday afternoon at 3 o’clock at St. Paul’s Methodist church. Mr. Warrick was taken sick just one week ago Sunday, and although not considered serious at first, it was found necessary to perform an operation. His condition had become so serious that he could not survive, and he passed away Friday noon at 12 o’clock at St. Elizabeth’s hospital.

Mr. Warrick had been in the employ of the Burlington railroad constantly since 1888, and had resided in Lincoln for fifteen years, coming here from Crete. A short service was held at the late home, 2223 R street, from whence the remains were taken to the church where the public services were held, Rev. I. F. Reach, pastor of the church officiating.

He leaves to mourn his untimely departure the widow and two daughters, Miss Dora, who resided at home and Mrs. Farnk Wulff of Colorado Springs, Colo., and one brother Lincoln Warrick of Blair, Nebr. and three sisters, Mrs. James Stapleton of Craig, Nebr., Mrs. N. Swanson of Crescent, Iowa and Mrs. Hother Jeger of Jefferson, Iowa. Besides these from out of town at the funeral were Miss Cora Beard, Mrs. Ella Tyson and Mrs. T. C. Hungate of Blair, Mrs. C. A. Canfield of Fremont, Neb. The remains were taken to Blair, Nebr this afternoon at 1:35 o’clock over the Northwestern, where they will be laid to rest in the family burial lot. - State Journal.

The body of Theo Warrick arrived Monday afternoon from Lincoln, accompanied by friends and relatives. The funeral procession formed at the depot in charge of the Blair Odd Fellows and proceeded directly to the cemetery where the last rites of that order were performed at the grave, Rev. J. G.
