7 Oct., 1925 - The Pilot

Miss Ida Nelson, daughter of Mrs. and Mrs. M. P. Nelson, who live about six miles west of Blair, passed away at 10:35 at Emmanual hospital in Omaha yesterday from an attack of rheumatism that finally affected her heart. She had been there under treatment for the past six weeks. The body was brought up to Blair at once, and taken out to the farm home today. A short funeral service will be held at the house at 1 o’clock tomorrow and at 2 o’clock Rev. O. U. McProud will conduct services at the Methodist church. Miss Ida was born March 28th on the farm that had been her home all her life, 22 years. She is survived by her parents, one sister, Emma, and one brother, Edwin. The bereaved family have the sincere sympathy of many friends.
