7 Oct., 1925 - The Pilot

Ed Latta, son of the late Congressman J. P. Latta, died at his home in Tekamah at 5 o’clock yesterday morning from the effects of a paralytic stroke suffered two weeks ago. The funeral is being held today and a some of the members of Jordan Commandery went up to attend it, the Knights having charge of the burial service. Mr. Latta was but 54 years of age. His wife was formerly Miss Stella Stout, of this city. Besides her, he leaves three children, two sons and a daughter, and one brother, Burr Latta.
