N. T. BIFFAR DIES AT BLAIR HOSPITAL

N. T. Biffar passed away at the Blair hospital Tuesday, Oct. 21, 1930 at the age of eighty two years, three months and twelve days, following a long illness.

He had not been in the best of health for a number of years and was confined to the hospital at Hot Springs, Arkansas prior to going to the Blair hospital where he has spent the past year.

Mr. Biffar was born in Sullivan county, New York July 9, 1848 and came to Washington county, Neb. in the fall of 1871. He was married to Lizzie E. Goll on Apr. 2, 1880 and moved to his farm northwest of Blair where he resided until Oct. 27, 1918 when the death of his wife caused him to move to Arkansas.

He is survived by three sons, Francis, John and Lonnie and two daughters, Mrs. Roy Peak and Mrs. J. E. Miller of Blair. Also two half brothers and a half sister, Charles and George Biffar and Mrs. John Specht all of New York.

Short funeral services were held Oct. 23 at the J. E. Miller home and at two o’clock from the Christian church, Rev. L. J. Moran officiating. Interment was made in the Blair cemetery.
