Funeral services for Mrs. John Franksett, who died at her home hear early in Thanksgiving morning, were conducted from the home on Sunday afternoon by Rev. Adrian J. Edgar of the M. E. church. Laura Estelle Foye was born south of Arlington in Dodge county on May 20, 1875, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Foye, being among the oldest settlers of this vicinity where she spent practically all her life. She was married to John Franksett, who with their daughter, Mrs. Lulu Boyle, survives her. Deceased had been in very poor health for some time, but was not bedfast until the past month. Interment was made in the Arlington cemetery.
