Johanna Marie Lundberg was born at Grangerdet, Sweden June 22, 1869. She was confirmed in the Swedish Lutheran Church in 1884.

In 1886 she came to this country. February 14th, 1890 she was married to Jonas Blomberg at Omaha, Nebraska. While in Omaha she attended the Methodist church. In 1891 they came to the farm north of Blair, where they have lived ever since. Their union was blessed with six children, Edna, Florence, Frieda, Lloyd, Mildred and Edwin.

Mrs. Blomberg has been unwell for several years, but continued with her work and refused to give up until about two weeks ago, when she was taken to specialists in Omaha, where her condition was found to be critical, and surgical aid came too late, death ensuing Saturday evening, May 17, 1930, her age being 60 years, 10 months and 25 days.

She is survived by her husband, her six Children, Miss Edna Blomberg, Mrs. L. G. Haller of Omaha, Mrs. Stuart Brown of Los Angeles, Lloyd and Mrs. Andrew Svendgaard of Blair, and Edwin of Omaha; two brothers, one of Chicago and one living in Sweden and four sisters in Sweden; with other relatives and a large circle of friends who cherish her memory as a loving wife, a devoted mother, a kind neighbor and faithful friend.

Services were held at the Methodist church Tuesday, May 20 at 2 p.m., Rev. Carl Bader officiating. Music was furnished by Miss Leila Wright, Mrs. W. V. Wright and Miss Gertrude Mead. Burial was made in the local cemetery.
