OBITUARY

Christian Kurt Johnson was born January 23, 1849 at Dongs Hairup, Denmark, and died at this home in Blair June 4th, 1930.

In 1879 Mr. Johnson came to America, and in 1885 he came to Wisner, Neb. In 1886 he was married to Sophia Andersen and to this union was born one daughter, Andrea Springrose of San Diego, Calif. In 1902 Mr. Johnson and family moved to Blair and have made their home here ever since.

Funeral services were conducted from the First Lutheran church at Blair on June 8th, Rev. H. Nielsen officiating, after which interment was made in the Blair cemetery.

Surviving him are his bereaved wife and daughter, Andrea Springrose.
